The 509 acss is my second handgun red dot and first closed emitter. I was originally looking at the 507c and I am glad I ended up going with the 509. I was concerned the acss would be small and hard to see like it is in my 403 with the acss reticle and that is not the case. The chevron reticle in the red dot is the perfect size. Also the outer ring is great to help with new red dot users to help find the dot. And as always, with tacrig, they had it to my door very quickly and with exceptional customer service. Can’t recommend either one enough!!

509 is an incredible optic, and the ACSS Vulcan reticle is one of the most practically innovative things released in recent years for the firearms industry.
Having its own footprint is pretty annoying, but reasonably manageable, and worth it as the only closed emitter ACSS option

Great Reticle, Great Options and as always from TACRIG Great Price! Can’t say enough about how well this optic preformed for me. Its fast up close while also allowing for precision, and I love the BDC properties of the Chevron. If they put it out in Green I may be swapping out a handful of my other pistol optics
